Our oldest daugh...Congratulations on your new son! Our oldest daughter developed Vitiligo only about 2 years ago. We first noticed it with a large white patch on her hip. Now she has white patches on her back and a couple on her legs as well. It's purely cosmetic and thankfully her white spots are typically hidden by clothing. Our doctor has said that sometimes kids will get some spots of depigmentation and never get any more. My daughter hasn't had any new spots for quite a while, so we're hopeful that she's done. Even if she isn't, thankfully she's got a great attitude about it and we know it's not affecting her overall health. Her first comment though when the doctor said Vitiligo was, "Oh my gosh.....like the Michael Jackson disease?!"Eileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12149276733782997431noreply@blogger.com
